The Teltonika RUT901 offers robust connectivity options, supporting 4G LTE (Cat 4), 3G, and 2G networks. Its dual SIM functionality ensures seamless connectivity with auto failover, backup WAN, and other intelligent switching scenarios. This ensures uninterrupted internet access even in areas with fluctuating network signals. Equipped with a Wireless Access Point and Hotspot functionality, the RUT901 supports IEEE 802.11b/g/n standards, providing reliable and fast Wi-Fi connections. It accommodates up to 100 simultaneous connections and offers advanced security features like WPA/WPA2-PSK Mixed Mode, WPA2-EAP, and WPA3-EAP, ensuring a secure and efficient Wi-Fi experience. 

The device supports a variety of protocols, including MQTT, Modbus TCP, and DNP3, facilitating versatile and secure communication across different platforms and devices. The RUT901’s mobile capabilities are impressive, offering 4G LTE speeds up to 150 Mbps, 3G speeds up to 42 Mbps, and 2G speeds up to 236.8 kbps. With 3GPP Release 9 support, it provides comprehensive status monitoring, enabling users to track signal strength, data usage, and more. Additionally, its dual SIM support and auto-switch scenarios make it adaptable to various mobile network conditions. Security is a top priority with the RUT901, featuring authentication options like pre-shared keys, digital certificates, and X.509 certificates. It also boasts robust attack prevention mechanisms, including DDOS prevention and port scan prevention, along with port and tag-based VLAN separation for enhanced network security. 

The RUT901 offers advanced network features such as static and dynamic routing, support for multiple network protocols including TCP, UDP, IPv4, and IPv6, VoIP passthrough support, and load balancing over multiple WAN connections. These features ensure efficient data routing and optimal network performance. The device comes with 1 x WAN port and 3 x LAN ports, supporting 10/100 Mbps Ethernet connections. It also supports various VPN protocols, including OpenVPN, IPsec, GRE, PPTP, and L2TP, ensuring secure and reliable connectivity for remote access and data transmission. For industrial applications, the RUT901 supports MODBUS in both Server and Client modes, with customizable MODBUS TCP registers. It also supports various data transmission protocols like HTTP(S), MQTT, Azure MQTT, and Kinesis, facilitating seamless data transfer to servers and cloud platforms. 

Monitoring and managing the RUT901 is straightforward with its Web UI, FOTA, SSH, SMS, TR-069, MQTT, SNMP, and JSON-RPC capabilities. These features provide comprehensive control and oversight of the device’s operations and settings. The RUT901 is compatible with popular IoT platforms such as Cloud of Things, ThingWorx, Cumulocity, and Azure IoT Hub. It features a Mediatek 580 MHz CPU, 128 MB RAM, and 16 MB FLASH storage, running on the RutOS (OpenWrt based Linux OS) firmware, ensuring efficient and reliable performance. Housed in a durable aluminium casing with plastic panels, the RUT901 has compact dimensions of 110 x 50 x 100 mm and weighs just 297 g. It operates reliably in extreme conditions, with an operating temperature range of -40 °C to 75 °C and an operating humidity range of 10% to 90% non-condensing.
